About fttp business broadband
Telappliant supplies business-grade FTTP from Openreach, CityFibre and altnet partners. FTTP is asymmetric: download speeds are higher than upload speeds, and the available speed tier depends on your address.
Cloud backups, video calls and large file transfers need upload capacity as well as download speed. FibreLight offers symmetric speeds at a similar price point to FTTP. Ask us to compare both for your premises; availability and the final price are confirmed in your quote.
We run multi-carrier procurement on every quote. The best price and the shortest install date are not always from the same carrier, so we check across Openreach and the major altnets and present a single recommendation.
Installation is project-managed. We chase Openreach or the altnet, attend the install, configure the router, and provision a static IP and any port forwarding or VPN requirements before handover.
Once live, FTTP is monitored from our NOC with proactive fault management and carrier escalation. It does not include the service credits or committed restore times offered with Ethernet services. If those commitments matter to your business, compare an Ethernet leased line.
