A private connection you don’t share
Ethernet leased lines give you a dedicated circuit that isn’t shared with other businesses. That means more predictable speed, lower latency, and steadier performance during busy periods.
It’s also a strong foundation for connecting multiple sites with clearer separation than shared broadband.
Predictable performance,
with symmetrical speeds
Leased lines are fully symmetrical, so uploads don’t become a bottleneck for cloud apps, VoIP, video meetings, backups, or large file transfers.
There are no standard usage caps for normal business use, and if your needs change you can often increase committed bandwidth on the same bearer rather than replacing the circuit.

What changes for your team
Faster access to cloud apps
Reduce waiting for files and services – especially at peak times when shared connections slow down.
Consistent performance at busy times
Dedicated bandwidth helps keep voice, meetings, and critical systems stable when demand spikes.
Better control for voice and security
A dedicated circuit supports reliable real-time traffic and can be paired with security controls (for example TLS for voice services, where applicable).
SLA-backed fault targets
Options include SLA targets with 5–7 hour fix times (depending on the access provider).
Unmetered high-volume transfer
Move large volumes of data without day-to-day usage anxiety (subject to service terms).
Connectivity Features
Choose the access type that fits the site. We’ll confirm what’s available at your address, then quote based on speed, bearer, contract term and build complexity.
Ethernet Leased Line
Available Speeds
10 Mbps to 10 Gbps
(symmetrical, uncontended)Fully symmetrical non-contended speeds with 100Mbps, 1Gbps or 10Gbps bearers.
Hardware Included?
Business network routerWe will provide a router capable of delivering the high speeds your line is capable of and supply services to your organisation.
Backup Option
Optional fibre or 5G backupOptional with your leased line. If your main connection suffers an outage then the broadband service will take over and provide a basic Internet access service.
Installation Timescale
15 to 75 working daysThis timescale depends on whether fibre is already in your premises. If it isn’t then installation can take a lot longer. This is down to the physical installation, for instance any complexity or restrictions involved in bringing the circuit to your premises.
Service Level Agreement
5 – 7 hour fix timeThis depends on which incumbent provider we use for the final connection to your site.
Availability
International AvailabilityDue to our global partnerships we can provide Internet connectivity from virtually anywhere in the world. Securely connect your international offices with SD-WAN / MPLS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions? You can find some of most frequently asked questions here
What is an Ethernet leased line?
A leased line is a dedicated, uncontended connection for your organisation. Because it isn’t shared, performance is more consistent than shared broadband services.
Who is it best for?
Leased lines suit organisations that need reliable connectivity for multiple users/sites, cloud applications, VoIP/video, and predictable performance during peak times.
How do Leased Lines work?
Leased Lines run over fibre optic technology, which is the most sophisticated medium for transferring data. Fibre optics use light pulses to transport data down fibre lines, and cost much less to maintain than traditional copper lines. Today, all core networks are based on fibre due it’s high-speed capacity and greater defiance to electromagnetic noise.

How long does installation take?
The page quotes 15 to 75 working days depending on whether fibre is already present and the complexity of bringing the circuit into the premises.
Can I add backup connectivity?
Yes, optional broadband or 5G backup can be provided so you have a secondary route if the primary service is unavailable.
Can you provide connectivity outside the UK?
We have international availability via global partnerships; if you’re connecting overseas sites, ask and we’ll scope what’s possible per location.
Do you have a connectivity project you wish to discuss?
