Public sector organisations use the Digital Marketplace to access services
The government Digital Marketplace is made up of 3 frameworks:
- G-Cloud
- Digital Outcomes and Specialists
- Crown Hosting Data Centres
We have met the standards laid out by the CCS and have been accepted onto the G-Cloud 9 framework which contains cloud services. We are listed under the Cloud Software category. Source
What are frameworks?
In recent years there has been a huge uptake in cloud technology . The government frameworks provide public sector bodies with a pool of approved supplies from which to choose.
“Government frameworks are agreements between the government and suppliers. The basic terms of use are agreed by both parties after a contract notice is published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
Buying services through frameworks is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts. Buyers and suppliers still need to sign a contract for each service bought through a framework.”
As a supplier we are now able to provide our software as a service to public sector organisations.
